Book 4 House of Chains is in the mail and I’m looking forward to book 5 Midnight Tides . These books are epic.

I just finished reading What Should I Do with My Life?:
by Po Bronson.
Mr Bronson's writing offers support for those questioning their career paths and job-life choices by giving voice to people who have faced and are facing the same questions.
Mr Bronson interviewed hundreds of people, and presents the most compelling in a casual interview style. He include his responses where they shaped the interview, and he reflects on their stories after some time to consider their experiences. Many times it seems as though he's biting his tongue to prevent himself from affecting their decisions.
Most were trying to follow the quiet voice in the back of their mind, telling them that something wasn't quite right with this job, this career choice, this way of life. Some jumped headlong into the search to satisfy the voice, others made changes after a life changing event. Everyone followed a different path on the way to making their life more satisfying.
To summarize, there is no silver bullet, no one true way to find what you're 'supposed' to be doing. But reading these people's experiences offers support and encouragement. By showing how others have found enjoyment in their jobs, by having the courage to make dramatic changes, often in the face of strong critism.

I quite liked it. Set in a future where our current environmental crises have worsened, and corporations rule. The 'wired' infrasture is everywhere, and for dollars per month you can have your 'self' uploaded to run in a shared realtime computer environment, where your virtual work, home and play exist ( at $$$ byte. )
