yet another photo management

iMatch from Photools. Looks really good, better than other tools I've seen. Really strong category support. Able to copy selected files around on your disk, ie. for staging for burning or uploading to websites. Need to try it out some more before I commit to it, but it looks good.

Picasa recommended by Ernie the Attorney

[Update:] I had a bit of time to give this a try, and it seems pretty good. It lets you modify your picture ( rotate, crop etc.) without modifying the original on disk. The timeline feature is pretty nice, but my albums (directories) are a bit of a mess, so I don't think I'm seeing all of the capabilities of the program.

Photo gallery software

PhotoPal by Noel Jackson, is '... an image organization system featuring template driven Textism-style picture layout, automatic thumbnail creation, RSS feeds, picture level EXIF date extraction, and picture level descriptions, all without the need for an SQL like database."

Whew! That's quite a statement.
