Scrub that harddrive!

Think twice before you dispose of that harddrive. What files are still sitting on it, either deleted or not? Enter the hard-drive scrubber! There are applications which will clean your harddrive, including deleted files, to prevent your info from getting around.

I’ve used SDelete to scrub the small tower of Iomega Jaz discs leaning against the wall in my office. Now to find someone who only needs to store data in 1 Gb chunks…

ArtRage

ArtRage is extremely cool. It’s UI takes over the screen and feels very natural, for drawing on a computer. It’s UI is simple, I think that I could teach my (computer savy) toddler to muck about with it, but it’s also very rich, offer up 5 different tools ( pencil, marker, palette knife).

Very fun, and free! Supports Tablet PC and PC with a tablet, though it works with a mouse. Though it’s been said, using a mouse to draw is like drawing with a bar of soap… :)
