ArtRage is extremely cool. It’s UI takes over the screen and feels very natural, for drawing on a computer. It’s UI is simple, I think that I could teach my (computer savy) toddler to muck about with it, but it’s also very rich, offer up 5 different tools ( pencil, marker, palette knife).
Very fun, and free! Supports Tablet PC and PC with a tablet, though it works with a mouse. Though it’s been said, using a mouse to draw is like drawing with a bar of soap… :)
